Green Museum Case Study: Dudson Museum





Dudson Museum agreed to be one of the first museums to go green with the ‘Greenshoots’ scheme launched in 2011 in Staffordshire and the West Midlands. The museum displays 200 years of Dudson pottery and is contained in a Grade II bottle oven. In 2011 they won the Staffordshire Environmental Quality Mark Award. They were shortlisted for the Sustainability category in the Museum and Heritage awards.
